Welcome to The Engleton Guest House in Falmouth, a welcoming Georgian town house ideal for couples and families. Recently taken under new ownership, our well appointed property is situated just a short walk from the local amenities, art galleries and attractions. Falmouth is also home to a delightful sandy beach and stunning coastal walks for you to explore.
Our range of room types comprises of one double ensuite room, two double/family ensuite rooms for three, two twin rooms with a shared bathroom and a single ensuite room. All are well equipped with Freeview TV, tea/ coffee making supplies, a hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. Ironing facilities are also provided on the top floor for our guests use.
Choose our full cooked breakfast which is created from local produce or one of the options from our specials board. These include Cornish smoked kippers and we also offer a range of cereals, fresh coffee, tea, juice and toast. Our regular breakfast time is between 8 and 9am but if you require an earlier meal, we can supply a bacon/ sausage sandwich to go. Special diets can be catered for and we can also provide a continental breakfast or your choice of yoghurt and fruit with twenty four hours notice.
Roadside parking can be found adjacent to the property and is available for an hours stay up until 5pm. Parking is unrestricted from 5pm to 10am each day. Other street parking is located around our guest house.
Well behaved dogs are accepted at a charge of £5 each per night. Our check in time is between 2pm and 7.30pm with a later check in facility available.
Our guest house is set just a two minute walk from the cafes, restaurants, shops, pubs and bars on Falmouth High Street. We are also close to the Falmouth Arts & Penryn Tremough College Campus and are ideal for both business and leisure guests. Other attractions include the Cornwall Maritime Museum and Falmouth has plenty of opportunities for sailing and diving. The Eden Project is set a 40 minute drive away.
Travelling via the A39 from Truro to Falmouth, you will pass the ASDA Superstore on your left; continue along the A39 over one further roundabout (with a canon & anchor on top!), signposted Falmouth . At the next roundabout at the bottom of the bypass (Speedy Hire in front of you) take the third exit. There is another roundabout shortly after, where you should go straight on signposted to Falmouth & beaches. You will see McDonalds and the Police Station on your left. Carry on to the traffic lights (Majestic Wine shop on the left) and go straight across. Following Town Centre signs, proceed to mini roundabout and take the first exit left into Killigrew Street – Engleton Guest House is on the left half way down the hill (Green Sign on the building).
