Welcome to Gallen-Treath Guest House near Helston. Our peacefully situated property is ideal for walkers, families or couples and offers spectacular sea-views over the coastline of the Lizard Peninsula. Diving, nature watching and sailing can all be enjoyed nearby and we are also close to beautiful gardens and historic properties. Families are very welcome and we offer a two bedroom suite with double and twin beds which can sleep four people. A great choice of breakfast is served in our ground floor dining room which offers wonderful views over the village and Falmouth Bay.
We offer a choice of en-suite single, double, twin and family rooms. All guest rooms are well equipped with a generous hospitality tray, Freeview TV, complimentary toiletries and dining guide. There is also a bathroom on the first floor which all guests can use.
A full English breakfast is served at a flexible time to accommodate walkers or those working in the area. Special diets can be catered for by arrangement and we also offer a three course evening meal when booked in advance. We are licensed and offer a second floor lounge and a patio/ garden for guests to relax in.
We are pet friendly by prior arrangement and situated within close proximity to local coastal paths and beaches. One of our double rooms offers access to an outdoor patio garden with seating area which offers country and sea views. Disabled guests can also be catered for in our ground floor double room with an extra bed available on request. This room offers an ensuite with shower cubicle and ramp access to the room from the patio.
From Helston take the A3083 (Lizard road). Past Culdrose turn left on to the B3293. Follow the road through Rosevear and turn right at the roundabout. Go through Garra Goonhilly (on your right), Zoar and on to St. Keverne. Turn left at the square by the White Hart pub and the road will take you to Porthallow. Go through the village and follow the road round to the other side of the valley. (Don't turn right up the very steep hill, this will lead you out of the village).
