At Hanwell House we offer you an extremely comfortable and welcoming bed and breakfast accommodation in the Oxfordshire town of Banbury. It’s a modern guest house with individually designed en-suite rooms and we have a good selection of books for your relaxation and local guides for the area. Our sunny landscaped garden has a small pond and guests have private parking on the drive.
We have three guest rooms, all of which are named after English Civil War battles. The Cropredy Room can either be used as a twin or superking room and has an en-suite bathroom, the Danesmoor Room is a comfortable double room with its own private bathroom with a bath and shower, and the Edgehill room has an en-suite shower room. All have excellent facilities, including a flatscreen TV with Freeview, free Wi-Fi access, clock radio, hairdryer, quality toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is a seriously delicious experience of local produce for all diets and tastes.
Our house is in the north of Banbury and so within easy reach of several tourist attractions. a ten minute drive will take you to Banbury town centre with its range of restaurants, bars and shops in the Castle Quay shopping centre or alternatively to the English Civil War battlefields of Cropredy Bridge and Edgehill. Silverstone racing circuit is just a 20 minute drive away and we’re just a few minutes from the M40, offering access to Oxford, Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.
We are unable to accommodate children under 11 and as we have two cats of our own, Phoebe and Milo, we cannot accept other pets.
